Long term vessel and steam mixer
The Long Term Vessel (LTV), combined with the steam mixer, is essential for maximizing steam absorption. The steam mixer ensures that the steam is injected into the feed uniformly, allowing for optimal moisture penetration. The LTV further extends retention time, allowing the feed to absorb heat evenly, improving feed quality and ensuring better pellet durability. This combination significantly enhances the feed’s nutritional value and pelletability while optimizing biosecurity by eliminating harmful bacteria.
Steam systems
Van Aarsen offers two key steam systems, each designed to deliver high-quality steam for precise feed conditioning:
- Steam Quantity Control Group: This system monitors and adjusts the amount of steam injected into the conditioner, based on the temperature of the feed exiting the steam mixer. The steam quantity is managed automatically to ensure the correct level of heat and moisture, preserving the feed’s nutritional integrity while optimizing the conditioning process.
- Steam Reducing Group: The steam reducing group ensures the supply of dry, saturated steam, free from condensate, which helps maintain consistent moisture levels and control the temperature inside the conditioner. By removing excess condensate, this system protects the equipment from water hammer and prolongs the lifespan of all steam system components, guaranteeing reliable long-term performance.
